Evolve Creative Media is a network of professionally qualified new media specialists that form an associated partnership of freelance marketers, graphic designers, web developers, sound designers, musicians, music producers, photographers, events managers, animators and film editors based all over the UK.
We undertake commercial work for the private sector and use a proportion of our revenue to invest in arts projects that span many forms of digital media. We do this because we are a group of socially aware individuals that do our best to support creative people in fulfilling their ambitions. Recently we launched the Evolve-X section of our site to support new writers. In 2009 we are launching Evolve Music, a special project that seeks to give a virtual stage to unsigned musicians and producers. We plan to distribute their music for free to anyone that wants to download it. There’s no sign up or membership required because we just want to give free music to people that want to hear it. The point is, nobody has to pay for it so why not just give the music a listen or the articles a read – there’s no harm in that…is there?
As a group our ethos is to support enlightened people that share the beliefs and principals by which we operate. We look for talented people that do what they do for the love of their art and we don’t charge any fees for our services because we want to invest our time in creating attractive and effective systems that support their needs. We have plans to deliver similar projects for visual artists, animators and film makers in the future so if you’re interested in getting involved in this project or any others then we’d be happy to hear from you – please use the contact us section of our site to register your interest.
I suppose the truth is that we strongly believe that everything evolves;
ideas, people, the natural world and society. We believe in collaboration
and passionately believe in linking people and their ideas with the people
that can help to achieve them. Maybe it’s a ridiculous utopian ideal
but Charles Darwin once wrote:

He was a clever guy and whilst he spoke from what can only be described as a scientific and cultural perspective, we believe that his point in our instance is still valid. We invoke a contemporary approach to digital arts delivery. In our commercial work this sets us apart from our profit focused competitors and in our social projects it has birthed a network of like-minded individuals that are prepared to give something a go because they want to contribute to our shared values and ideas. In the end we have simply developed a unique and socially sustainable business model that allows us to compete on price, quality, creativity and innovation whilst reserving funds to invest in new ideas and in people. Ideas and people are the backbone of our projects and as a result Evolve Creative Media is a forward thinking and dynamic community of digital media specialists that directly links the needs of people with the exceptional skills and knowledge of our Digital Arts Alliance.
We hope you like our site.
