On the 13th December 2008, twelve friends met at a large table in the Philharmonic Pub in Liverpool. Their mission was to discuss a collaborative arts project that would fuse conventional guitar music with electronica and various forms of visual art.
ASbos, a five piece alternative pop band from Liverpool and factions of the Evolve Creative Media family were to embark on a challenging project that would take almost 18 months to complete. The brief was simple, use dance music breakdowns to mix together three ASbos tunes and then produce a 13 minute film to accompany the music.
The songs all came from the ASbos back catalogue and the footage was taken at three locations; Moel Famu in North Wales, the Novas Contemporary Arts Centre in Liverpool and The Library Pub in Leeds.
Filming started in February 2009 and was completed in December 2010.
The final edit is now in progress.
